Tornai Estate
The Tornai family has been making wine since 1946 on Mt. Somló. Mt. Somló is a mountain that rises sharply out of the flat area. Endre Tornai, the founder, started viniculture and winemaking on a one-acre vineyard. Today the land totals 54 acres, and the third generation is now engaged in the everyday tasks of the wine cellar. For the TOP Selection they choose the grapes very carefully from low yielding areas and select them rigorously. With such a careful handling and longer maturity shows the variety its greatness, diversity and fantastic side. Plenty of potential ahead, with such a depth and richness the wine can be aged for a longer period of time and it will develop for many years.
